You may have problems if you’ve been prescribed a new medicine for a long-term condition. The New Medicine Service can offer extra help and advice to ensure you are using your medicine safely and to best effect.
Repeat Prescriptions
Manage your repeat prescriptions via the Charac app and order more medication for collection when necessary.
Hair Loss Treatment
We can offer informed advice about treatment options, and after a consultation dispense medication where necessary.
UTI / Water Infections
Women between 16 to 65 years with uncomplicated UTIs can seek advice and treatment directly from their pharmacist. You can book an appointment to discuss medication and potential treatment options.

Haroon has been working as a pharmacist for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience across the pharmacy industry, having worked in several pharmacy roles as well driving pharmacy innovation to support patient care. In 2014 he took over Empire Pharmacy in Old Trafford, Manchester, with the goal of transforming it into a community led pharmacy with a strong focus on serving the needs of people.
Now Empire Pharmacy is a thriving community hub and a trusted resource in the Manchester region. In 2022, Haroon partnered with Charac, with the aim of making Empire Pharmacy even more accessible to its patients and customers and to keep up-to-date with the modernising pharmacy industry.
